Don't judge me...

Yesterday, Daddy was off and went to get a sausage biscuit from Chik-Fil-A for breakfast. It smelled sinful... ooohhh....weeee.. He left the whole thing opened just for me on the tray. I must have been very good for him to leave such a big treat for me... when Daddy came back inside... he was very angry when he saw all that was left of the sausage biscuit was the wrapper... It wasn't a treat, I wasn't good... oh... no... ran into my house and have stayed there since....
Moral of the story: eat as fast as you can, you never know when they'll come back... it's always worth every scumptious gulp. Don't judge me... I'm just a sweet little shih-tzu mix.....

Ramblings

Hi Everyone, sorry we have been out of touch for awhile.
You know how it goes:
You log onto the computer to update the blog, then you have find the pictures, then realize you never uploaded them. You plug in the camera, but something is not working and you have to retrace the thousands of cords to make sure everything is hooked up, then there’s a new message notification, you check email, reply to some, file other ones, delete all the zillion spam, remember that I had to mail that birthday card out, oh! Where’s the stamps, there they are! Where’s the address book? Oh maybe its in one of the 4 yahoo accounts I keep, no, it’s on that piece of paper, in that drawer in the kitchen… mercy! Look at this drawer! I need to reorganize it, I probably should clean up the kitchen too! Oh! It’s almost dinner time.. what to make? what to make? Hmm… While I think about it let me watch an episode of Saving Grace on my DVR. Fall asleep, it’s midnight. Wake up then remember that I had to update my blog, then brush my teeth and start all over again. The life of being a discombobulated freak!

First, let me say.. Mummy is a little crazy about window clings... Window clings are adorned on every window, door with glass, and mirrors in the house.
She was so giddy when she found this nativity scene this year...







Mummy is crazy about purple and she loves these purple gumball flowers. Daddy placed the deer so it looks like it's munching on her flowers. hehehehehheh

A couple of Mummy's favorite ornaments:

This was actually a card we got a couple years ago from Mimi.


This is a musical ornament that plays "Canon in D".. Mummy's most favorite song in the whole world.


This is actually a pin that Mummy never wore. She got it at a Home Interiors function or something and thought it would look good on the tree. It did!


This is the mother/daughter ornament from Hallmark from Mimi to Mummy. Mummy cherishes it and always puts it on the tree first.




This is a heart locket and opens up to a wedding picture and a scripture that says, "love is patient, love is kind... "


These are stained glass angels handmade by our Aunt Cindy. They are peppered throughout the house in almost every window. They protect us and stay all year round. Mummy really likes them and wanted me to show you.

Thanksgiving

Mummy and Daddy took me to Mimi’s house for Thanksgiving! It was lots of fun. I ran and ran and ran and played with this big ball. I had so much fun! Mummy even slipped me some treats from the table! Aunt Stacey and Uncle James said everyone got sickey at the last minute and couldn’t come. I really wanted to play with Jacob and the twins. That would have been great. Mummy, Daddy & Mimi played games and left a lot to out shopping. I really love grandpa’s chair when he’s not sitting in it. It’s so big and comfortable!

Mummy turned into the crazy cleaning lady again this weekend. She cleaned, she dusted and vacuumed and then she cleaned some more. Then I realized why. Coco's Mummy, Judy, came over. Mummy always cleans the house like crazy when there's people coming over. Then later Uncle Roy and Aunt Amanda came to visit. They watched slideshows of their pictures from Germany, Switzerland, Paris and somewhere else! Mummy got scared of a picture with an orb. Then Mummy brought out Daddy's baby book. Everyone laughed and laughed that Daddy's first word was "bye-bye" and that he liked to play with his toes. They laughed and laughed about something else but I can't really remember. My little memory doesn't hold all that. It was a lovely weekend. It's great to be a dog...

Weekend at Mimi's

This weekend, Mummy & Daddy took me to Mimi’s! Yep! We went to Mississippi for a little weekend visit. The car ride was fun. Mummy would watch movies on her DVD player and then when she wanted a break, she let me climb up on her lap. I like that. Then whenever I got to go potty there was just so many smells. So many… I couldn’t concentrate. Once I got to Mimi’s house, I met a cat that was not very interested in playing with. I tried and tried to tell her that I was sweet and fun, but she wouldn’t buy it. Oh well. I ran and ran and ran and ran and ran… WOW! Then on Saturday, Mummy laid a picnic blanket outside to read and let me roam around. I found a secret spot in the woods and found an amazing patch that I had to stick my face and nose in.. Then I rolled and rolled around in it. Then I heard Mummy calling me. I found my way back to her and she was not happy with me. Next thing I know she’s sticking me in a bucket and washing me down with COLD COLD COLD water! IT WAS SO COLD!!! Then she had me sit out on the backporch for awhile and then let me back in. I think she forgave me. Then Daddy woke up from his LONG nap and I was happy again. Mimi and Daddy had to tell Mummy that I’m just a dog and sometimes I roll around in poop. I’m so glad for Mimi and Daddy.

My Little Sahsha Beans:


You sure have changed my life in so many ways. The first couple days we received you into our home, I was not sure we’d agree. I never had a dog before and sure didn’t understand the concept and how to take care of one. Your Daddy loved you though from the first minute he picked you up. You were so little, you fit in his hand. He was enamored by you. I was jealous, yes I’ll admit it. You appeared at a time when my heart had been broken so many times that it was locked up, barricaded, sealed off from the rest of the world never to be seen again. Oh, but there you were, so full of love and tenderness. So damn sweet. Your daddy and I loved spoiling you. We couldn’t wait to see you smile. We loved driving together somewhere and talking about how you would come home from your walk and run all over the apartment and try to find me. Daddy had to tell you I wasn’t home yet and you’d do this cute little, “hmpth!” We cracked up for hours at how fast you’d run, how you didn’t like your little paws touched and how everyone was just ga-ga over you. Our little princess.

You stole my heart. Somehow, you released me from all my fears and showed me it was okay to let my heart come out. I may get hurt, but that can’t stop me from living a glorious wonderful life. I never thought that I would be so crazy about a dog. But, you’re more than just a dog, you’re my special baby girl. I love making up songs with you, teaching you tricks, and just watching a movie together while you sit on my lap. Oh what sweet memories those are. When I was not feeling well in the hospital, all I needed Daddy to tell me was all the funny times we had together. They made me laugh so much and miss you so much that I had to get better fast and get home to you for all the great memories we’ll make.

Mummy loves you sweet girl and I always miss you when I’m not at home.

Mummy's home!

Mummy was out of town almost all week last week! I was so sad and didn't know if she'd come back. I didn't sleep, eat, or anything... just stayed at the window... watching... hoping. Then yesterday Daddy put me in the car and took me out for a drive and we stopped at this strange place where there was lots of other cars that were waiting. then the cars would drive away when someone new got in the car. Then I saw Mummy! I tried so hard to jump out of the window to get to her but I couldn't. I was oh so happy! Then I relaxed after all the excitement and rested my little head on her shoulder. Then I tried to sleep but realized I was hungry and ate my whole bowl of food and drank all my water. Mummy even let me sleep in the bed! So happy. Life is good.

Hey everyone! Mummy, Daddy & I are enjoying our new house! Mummy chases me around the kitchen and living room and then I sit outside for awhile. There are other doggies I want to play with on the other side of the fence… but Mummy and Daddy always get onto me for barking/talking to them. Mummy took me out for a walk last night and Daddy took me out for a walk this morning!! Wow!! I must have been a very good girl! Alright… get ready.. Mummy’s aunt is going to come visit us for a week at the end of August! You know what that means!!! Mummy turns into crazy cleaning lady. Get ready for her morph into the other scary lady. I’ll stay in my house and I’ll be fine… until she needs to sweep and mop under my house. Be afraid… be very afraid…

A NEW HOUSE!

Mummy and Daddy moved into a new house !!! I have my very own yard that I play in!! It’s so nice. I run all day and sit in the sun and get a nice tan. The floors are slippery and Mummy laughs at me when I run on them. The neighbors all have small boys that play with me. They like to chase me but they just can’t catch me! No way! Sometimes I ask Mummy if I could play and she takes me over and helps me ring their doorbell. Now, the boys come over and ask to play with me!!! We run for a little while, and then Mummy puts blankets in the truck bed and we all hang out in there! It’s sooo cool. Mummy tries really hard to read to us but we’re all too wound up to care. There was this one time when Daddy forgot he had some ropes and bungee cords in there and one of the boys tried to pretend he was a cowboy and I was a horse. Once again… I’m way too fast !!!
I have so much fun when mummy and daddy come home. I am all by myself all day hanging out on the couch.

Fashion Show at Petco!

I got my picture taken with Santa Today!

At Petco, my favorite place in the world, I had my picture done with Santa! Mummy was a little disappointed when I was scared of Santa and didn't want to sit still. Mummy was even MORE disappointed that she forgot her own camera. Silly Mummy. The girl with the crazy hair at Petco remembered me though from the fashion show! She took some pictures and said we could come Monday and pick up the rest of the pictures. I got to be in the truck and stick my head out of the window! I love that. Mummy tries to make me say hi to all the other cars.. I really don't dig that but I try to make her happy. She's been kinda crabby lately. With only two more weeks to finish shopping and get everything together for Christmas, she's been frantic and snapish. Daddy and Me try very hard to please her but sometimes, it's a lost cause.
Well.. that's it for now... pray for us...

Mummy's at it again

Oh Goodness ya'll!!! Save me! Mummy has been fixated on cleaning cleaning before grandpappy arrives to stay with us. She got the carpet shampooed and now no one can walk ANYWHERE in the house with their shoes on and she wipes up my paws EVERYTIME I go out. EVERY SINGLE TIME! Please help me!

Mummy dusts and dusts and sneezes and then this weekend she'll tackle the guest room/office/storage room and get it all pretty and homey for grandpappy. She said he's on oxygen now and that I need to be extra careful around him.

These humans are strange creatures.. I wish it wasn't Thanksgiving or whatever! Then Mummy is normal and the place is a mess and we run around the living room and dance and Mummy tries to sing while I run away from her!

Mummy and Daddy dropped me off at Auntie Manda's today! Yippee!! I get to have my very own sleepover with Cypress and Rascal! Their food is just so different and oh so yummy! It's okay if they eat from my bowl too! I do so love my Uncle Roy. He gives me lots and lots and lots of treats!!
